Washington, D.C. – BPC Action today announced the election of Kimberly Olson Dorgan as chair of its board of directors. Dorgan will play a critical role in shaping advocacy strategy and growing BPC Action’s influence on Capitol Hill.

“I am honored to serve as board chair of BPC Action,” said Dorgan, “and I look forward to working with my board colleagues, BPC Action staff, and the Bipartisan Policy Center to bring Republicans and Democrats together to enact policy changes on America’s most polarizing issues.”

Dorgan is currently a Managing Director at SIGNAL Group, a respected Washington lobby and communications firm. Prior to this role, Dorgan served as Senior Executive Vice President of Public Policy for the American Council of Life Insurers (ACLI). “Kim Dorgan is a Capitol Hill veteran who understands the legislative process. Kim’s passion for finding solutions that bring people together will be a valuable component of BPC Action’s leadership, particularly given our commitment to seeing bipartisan policy solutions enacted into law,” said BPC Action Executive Director Michele Stockwell.

BPC Action is the premier federal political advocate for bipartisan solutions to the challenges facing our country. BPC Action works closely with the Bipartisan Policy Center to advance smart policies through the legislative process.
